COUNTERPOINT

This series is the result of a few months of sketching passersby in Downtown Los Angeles. My neighborhood is one of the most eclectic in the United States: people of all backgrounds coexist in a beautiful cacophony.  These esquisses capture fleeting moments of solitude, anger, ecstasy... The balloons, reminiscent of a certain loss of innocence, act as a counterpoint to the dramatic lighting contrast achieved through ink on paper.

Each print is available in two sizes and is limited to 10 impressions each.
